Instructions:

This is a very flexible adding fraction worksheet generator. With all the options you can create worksheets for grade 4 to grade 6. You have full control over the denominators to adjust the worksheets for the level of your students.

Like and unlike denominators

With one click you can create worksheets with only like / same denominators in the sums or just unlike denominators. When you change this option, the instruction will also change.

Range of denominators

You can set the range for the denominator. How does this works? You type the smallest value for the denominator, then a dash and last the highest value. For example: 5-9, that means value 5,6,7,8 or 9 will be used for the denominator. After setting the range of the denominator you must click on the button 'Create Ne Fraction Worksheet' to create the new sums.
To make it more easy you can choose 3 levels for the denominator range. The levels are easy, medium and hard.

You can choose to add 3 fractions per sum or keep it a little simpler and select 2 fractions per sum. The ultimate challenging option is: adding 3 fractions with unlike denominators.

More Options

You can choose that the result of the sums can be bigger than 1; you just click on the checkbox Max Sum is 1:. When it is ticked than the result are smaller or equal than 1. Further more you can choose how many sums you want per page.

It is just a small mouse click for you, but a giant help for me.

Thank you!
